Thank you for your interest in our Teen or High School Preparation Program! The following is a general outline of the program we offer. Specific material and schedules will be determined based on the level of the students participating in the program. The teachers of the Teen/High School Preparation Program are all ESL trained and experienced professionals to deal with the needs of our students. We are certain that you will find our program well rounded, as we encourage students to learn the language through fun activities and traditional classroom instruction. The Teen Program is very similar to the adult program, but adjusted to the different needs of younger learners. There are more activities for the students and more opportunity for them to learn through recreation. Ottawa is one of the safest cities in North America. All of our homestays are carefully chosen from the safest neighborhoods in the city, with easy access to all amenities. In addition your child homestay family will ensure that all rules are adhered to, that your child is doing his/her homework on a regular basis, are eating well and that they are fully benefiting from the experience of living in a new country. Transportation to the school will be provided on the first day of class only unless otherwise requested by the parent. (Should you request transportation for your child a $100 per month fee will be added to the homestay to pay for fuel). Bus passes usually cost around $80/month and are much cheaper than paying per ride. At Interlangues your children will enjoy free access to email and the Internet.
